Redbud, a family owned and operated business is dedicated to creating artistic pieces that reflect your personal style.

Established in 1983, we have built numerous custom homes from framing to finish.  Unable to find doors that met our construction standards, and complimented the theme and atmosphere of our homes, we designed a line of interior and exterior solid wood mosaic doors.

Each door is individually crafted upholding our commitment to quality and innovation.  Every piece is carefully chosen by grain, color and texture.  No two doors are alike.

As you browse a sampling of our work, keep in mind that each door comes with our innovative   two-sided design option. This allows flexibility in style and pricing. You may choose from one of our pre-existing designs, or visualize a theme portraying your individual style. We encourage our customers to be proactive in the design process.  Challenges are welcome, as we believe diversity fosters creativity

Redbud’s founders have long been committed to the preservation of our planet’s environment. Each year we plant several varieties of trees that we give to those with landscaping needs.  Our hope is that our living gifts will help promote awareness of the need to continually replenish our lands with greenery, shade, mulch and beauty.

Each year we germinate 75 to 100 pine tree seedlings. As they grow, we transplant them into larger recycled pots until they are strong enough to be placed in the ground. 

Our commitment to the sustainability of the forests has encouraged us to purchase lumber from suppliers who share our values and have pledged their responsibility to future generations.

We pride ourselves in the use of reclaimed hardwood products for some of our pieces.  The use of several smaller pieces to form one larger mosaic pattern reduces waste to virtually nothing. Sawdust is used in our tree planting efforts or donated for community composting and mulching material.

Exotic woods used in our products have been salvaged from crating or similar sources. Redbud embraces environmentally friendly business practices and personal ethics and believes balance is the key to sustainability.
